Questions and Answers

Apply quickly and easily using our online form. First, fill out the fields and then upload your application materials (cover letter, resume, transcripts, and any other relevant documents) in a single PDF file.

For some job postings, you also have the option of sending your application materials to us by mail. You will find the exact address in the job posting. In this case, please send us your materials without binders or envelopes, as these will not be returned once the application process is complete.

To help us form as comprehensive a picture as possible of who you are, we need a detailed application package. It should include all important and relevant information about you and provide a clear and complete overview of your background, including your educational qualifications and professional experience.

Cover letter / statement of purpose: In your cover letter, please explain clearly why this particular position is the perfect fit for you. Why are you the right person for us, and why would you like to work with us? Tell us about your experience, your motivation, and the goals you have achieved so far and those you hope to achieve in the future. Please don’t forget to include the reference number for the job posting.

Resume: In a tabular resume, you should list your education and work experience in a professional context in chronological order. Be sure to indicate any gaps in your resume (e.g., periods of job searching or time spent abroad) so that we can better understand your background. Your language and computer skills round out your resume. Very important: Please always include a phone number, email address, and mailing address where we can reach you.

Transcripts/references: These include all important transcripts and diplomas from school, vocational training, and college, as well as employment references. These documents may be supplemented with certificates or internship certificates that are relevant to the job opening. If any additional, specific documents are required, this will be specified in the job posting.

Since some applications are addressed to different institutions, it is not possible to include multiple expressions of interest for different job openings in a single application. In this case, simply submit a separate application for each position (per reference number) using the online form.

We cannot reimburse you for any travel expenses incurred to attend a job interview or an employment test.

Your application materials will not be returned after the application process is complete; instead, they will be destroyed in accordance with data protection regulations. If you would still like to have your materials returned, you are, of course, welcome to pick them up from us after making prior arrangements.
